設計動機
近年來，污水處理作業變得越來越流行。 這導致污水處理人員傷亡頻繁發生。 吸入沼氣是造成地下污水事故的最常見原因。 沼氣會導致抽搐，昏迷和死亡，並使工人無法從下水道中逃脫。
Sewerage operation work has become increasingly popular in recent years. It leads to the sewage treatment casualties frequently occur. Inhalation of marsh gas is the most common cause of the underground sewage accident. Marsh gas can lead to convulsions, coma, and death, and causes the workers are unable escape from the sewer.

設計理念
下水道安全設備（SSE）為下水道工人提供了完整的解決方案。 下水道安全設備包括胸部涉水者，空氣過濾面罩，氣體探測器和指示燈裝置。 下水道安全設備可以保護下水道工人的安全，並幫助他們更快地獲救或從下水道中逃脫。增加下水道工人的逃生時間並減少事故和死亡的風險。
Sewer Safety Equipment (SSE) provide a total solution for sewer workers. Sewer Safety Equipment include chest waders, air filtration mask, gas detector, and indicator light device. Sewer Safety Equipment can protect the safety of the sewer workers and help them to be rescued faster or escape from the sewer. The purpose is to increase the escape time of sewer workers and reduce the risk of accidents and death.
設計目標
下水道安全設備的五個功能是：
1.涉水員由防水材料和反光織物製成，可提高工作場所的安全性和視野。
2.空氣過濾面罩可以過濾空氣中的有害氣體。
3.氣體檢測儀可用於檢測並告知氣體強度和氧氣消耗。 氣體探測器還結合了警告信號和定位系統。
4.氣體警報信息可由地面運營主管監控，並提供位置信息。
5.指示燈可以幫助下水道工人找到離開的方法。
Five features of Sewer Safety Equipment are:
1. Chest waders are made from waterproof material and reflective fabric, which improve the safety and visibility in the workplace.
2. The air filtration mask can filter the harmful gases from the air.
3. The gas detector can be used to detect and inform gas intensity, and oxygen depletion. The gas detector also combined with warning signal and positioning system.
4. The gas alarm information can be monitored by the ground operations supervisor and provides location information.
5. Indicator lights can help the sewer workers find the way to exit.
