代間學習中心桌椅設計
Tables and chairs for intergenerational learning center
設計動機
日益嚴重的高齡化問題紛紛困擾著各個已開發國家,在英國已有「幼老共園」的計畫,台灣目前也仿效了國外的做法,在中台灣逐步實施此計畫。在參與活動的過程中我們發現,桌椅的高低差讓長輩的坐姿和幼老的溝通都遇上了困難。
The problem of an aging society is becoming more and more serious, which is bothering every developing country. In the UK, they already have a project called intergenerational learning. Taiwan also imitated the example of intergenerational learning and began to implement the plan. During this process, we found a problem, that is, the height difference between the table and chair. The problem not only make children getting more difficult to talk to the elderly when they sit on the same chair but also make the elderly sit in a poor posture.
設計理念
將桌子和長輩的椅子降低,幼童的椅子升高,達到「同高也能共用」的設計。幼兒的椅面增高,因此增加踏板讓幼兒的腳可以不需要長時間懸空。並且可以依照課程需要來調整桌椅排列方式。
We decide to put down one chair and lift the other. At the same time, we will put down the table. Therefore, it not only can solve the problem of height difference but can let intergenerational learning become easier.
Because of rising children's seats, we decided to add the pedal, so that children do not need to hang their feet for a long time.The arrangement of tables and chairs can be changed according to the course requirements.
Human Island
設計目標
幼兒和長者最大的差別除了年齡,再來就是體格上的差距。我們的設計能讓兩者在坐下後拉近彼此的距離,不再因為高度差距導致幼童需要抬頭和長輩說話,長輩也不需要彎腰才能和幼童一起玩遊戲。
In addition to age, the biggest difference between children and elderly is their physique. From now on, they are no longer worried about the height difference. Children don't need to look up and talk to their elders, and elders don't need to bend over to play with children.
